The Austrian fleet is growing quickly, with no fewer than 5 boats joining the fleet last year including both classic wooden and modern fibreglass boats.

The main sailing centre is located in Mattsee, near Salzburg, where the annual 12′ Dinghy International Regatta takes place as part of the Cockshott trophy series, in addition to smaller local events.
